From the London Eye, not the best pic but it’s how it was on the day.

    Hi Julie.
The tube is great isn’t it!
Not as great at peak hour as it is at other times though!
There’s one particular section of track, can’t remember stations it goes between but it’s in the banking district.
It is particularly twisty and rough – a bit like a ride from Sideshow Alley at the Brisbane Ekka!
I recall riding it to a job interview at Barclays Bank in 2000. I arrived at the interview and the girl at the reception desk asked me if I was feeling OK. I told her I’d just got off this particular tube and she understood why I was so white!

    Mind the gap!

    • Yep, I’m minding the gap Greg, and have been on a couple of squishy ones now too. It’s funny isn’t it the things you remember places by? I’m now a huge fan of London’s whole transport system having made my way around using the aboveground trains and a few buses.

Thought I might as well make this a family affair! Hi, GD! Your pic from The Eye shows Weather about the same as the day Marilyn and I rode it. Your pic of the piper is really good – I like all the lines radiating into and away from him. Same guy who was there in 2010……….. just joking!
    Love Carolyn
